RM’s racing chronograph gets two sunny new models in the form of the Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Split Seconds Chronograph in blue and yellow. The model itself dates from December 2020, but it makes sense to give this curved, ultra-complex automatic split-seconds chronograph a new summer coat.

It’s not just extremely complex on the inside, but also on the outside. The 44 x 49.9 mm light blue or dark yellow case is made from Quartz TPT, while the bridges and skeletonized baseplate are made from grade 5 titanium. Thick sapphire crystals are used on the sides, and titanium screws complete the sandwich construction. So far, so good, but the information on the dial may be a little overwhelming.

Four central hands, four small hands and a date
The dial is skeletonized, with only the outer ring showing the background with the tachymeter scale and the seconds track. There are four central hands: hour, minute, chronograph seconds and split seconds. Pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock are used for start/stop/reset, and the one at 10 o’clock is for split seconds, accurate to 1/10 second. watches replica high quality

There is the small seconds on a subdial at 6 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock. Then there is the function selector for winding, date and manually setting the time, operated by a pusher in the center of the crown. A retrograde hand on the subdial at 4 o’clock displays the selected function (W, D or H). Finally, there is the semi-instantaneous date, located in a vertical hole at 11 o’clock.

Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph (Blue and Yellow) with 60-Hour Power Reserve
Its engine is Richard Mille’s RMAC4 calibre, an automatic movement developed together with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. They develop high-end movements and this one not only has a split-seconds complication, but also some more advanced technologies. There is a variable geometry rotor that can be adjusted to the wearer’s activity and a rapid-winding mechanism. replica watches price

This is in addition to the possibility of winding the watch automatically and with the crown. With this system, you can quickly load the barrel with energy while the watch is (almost) stopped. Using the push-piece at 8 o’clock, each press increases the energy. At full load, the power reserve is 60 hours.

The Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph (Blue and Yellow) is available with a blue or yellow rubber strap.
