Power Play: Six fun watches for business executives

When it comes to the wholesale fake watches that corporate executives pair with their power suits, the choices are pretty standard.

In this week’s article, we hope to break down stereotypes. While watches from brands like Rolex and Patek Philippe are excellent, there are also many excellent and interesting options that deserve serious consideration. So, in this week’s article, we’re looking at finer, premium high-end watches that also offer great watch performance.

Power Play: Six fun watches for business executives
So without further ado, here are our picks of watches.

Arminstrom Tribute 1

Armin Strom, an independent manufactory co-owned by Serge Michel and master watchmaker Claude Greisler, is only 14 years old, but it is currently pushing its weight with a series of incredible creations.

The Tribute 1 may be a compact chronograph, but it is a very special piece. It’s a 38mm timepiece that’s well made, but has a few small quirks. This includes an off-centre dial, crown at the atypical 2 o’clock position, and four interesting angular lugs. The whole concept might sound weird on paper, but it’s impeccably executed. Think of it as a refined timepiece, but injected with some fun.

Count Altiplano
Earl, as a brand itself, is also not so widely known in the watch collection circle. However, we think they do deserve more attention than they currently do.

Altiplano is a good example. Known as one of the thinnest watches in the world, the Altiplano is a testament to Piaget’s commitment to horological excellence. For this particular 38mm timepiece, this has been achieved through extreme precision engineering, in which every component is as thin as possible. In addition, in order for the watch to achieve a thickness of 3.65 mm, Piaget had to integrate the dial and movement on the same plane. Discount copy watch

The Altiplano is an excellent timepiece that showcases the strength of the manufacturer. We love the concept behind Altiplano and the entire execution. This is definitely a dress watch that can take your collection to the next level.

Chopard LUC Quattro Spirit 25
Chopard’s LUC Quattro Spirit 25 is one of our favorite pieces from Chopard’s recent offerings. Not only is it a fun piece, but it’s full of style and elegance.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of this watch is the jumping time complication. This is a first for Chopard and we love how the manufacturer has fitted the watch with a Grand Feu enamel dial to make this watch even more special. It is also worth noting that the dial is in-house and the negative space also allows us to indulge in the enamel dial. The hand-wound LUC 98.06-L caliber is also a force to be reckoned with, boasting four stacked barrels that deliver an impressive power reserve of around 190 hours. Of course, organization is also important.

The 40mm watch is available in 18k rose gold. This is a highly sophisticated and gorgeous timepiece, and its value is much more than that.

Breguet Tradition 7067
When it comes to Breguet, classic dress watches with beautiful guilloché dials come to mind. However, we think Breguet is much more than that.

The Tradition collection is a timepiece that hopes to change collectors’ perception of the brand through its contemporary style. The skeletonized movement is a key element of all Breguet watches, and it is dazzling. But beyond that, Tradition also retains the Breguet DNA that sets its watches apart—in this case, the guilloché dial, Breguet-style hands, coin-edge grooves on the case strap and Breguet hairspring. Talk about the best of both worlds.

Probably one of our favorite pieces in the collection is the Tradition 7067, which also comes with a dual time zone display by the way. It’s a beautiful timepiece with nice finishes throughout. We think this is a remarkable watch that showcases Breguet as one of the masterpieces of watchmaking.

A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1
The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 can be considered an icon of the modern watch, and it’s not hard to see why.

Launched in 1994, the Lange 1 cemented its place as one of the most famous creations with its distinctive design and impeccable finish. The former is certainly very interesting, and the concept doesn’t sound very promising on paper. However, the results were of course brilliant. We don’t know exactly how, but Lange’s team has managed to seamlessly integrate all the different elements (off-centre dial, power reserve indicator, sub-seconds dial and large date window) into the watch. sublimation.

The 38.5mm piece is a classic, and if you can afford it, it’s sure to be a must-have in any collection. Our pick is the classic yellow gold model with a champagne dial.

Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222
When it comes to remakes, its reception always goes both ways. Rebranding a classic is especially difficult, but Vacheron Constantin seems to have cracked the code with the new Historiques 222.

Notably, the 222 was Vacheron Constantin’s answer to the luxury sports watch category, the precursor to the popular and striking Cosmopolitan collection. This 37mm re-issue is almost faithful to the original, with some minor cosmetic tweaks and an updated movement (in the form of Caliber 2455/2).

While there’s nothing groundbreaking about the Historiques 222, this piece certainly has a lot of charm. We love the design of the 222 and how it instantly takes us back to the opulent days of the 1970s (gold dial, case and bracelet). This is the perfect watch for those who appreciate a classic aesthetic without the hassle of maintaining a 45-year-old timepiece.

There are many hidden gems in the scene that we really hope more collectors will continue to seek and consider beyond the usual skepticism. Our selection of six watches covers a wide variety of timepieces – some more well-known (such as A. Lange & Söhne, Breguet, and Vacheron Constantin), while on the other hand, there are also some less common timepieces that only connoisseurs or hardcore enthusiasts will appreciate. familiar. But in any case, they are excellent works of high quality.

So, what do you think of our picks today? Are they suitable for business executives, or are these people likely to be better off using the usual options? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. Shopping watch copy
