Although there are already several three calendars in the catalog of Vacheron Constantin, including the old Historiques and the modern FiftySix. But perhaps the perfect fusion of classic and modern is the Traditionnelle triple calendar launched three years ago.
The latest version of Traditionnelle Complete Calendar is made of white gold with a gray dial-a clean, restrained combination.
Although the latest version is just a color change, it is still a clever look. Traditionelle is already very attractive in terms of design, and it becomes better with the right case metal and dial. Here, the gray silver formula is perfect.
The dial layout of Traditionelle Complete Calendar is unique. Instead of having dual windows on the side below 12 o’clock, the date and month indicators are pushed to the edge of the dial. This opens up the beauty of the dial while also improving legibility.
Like other models in the Traditionnelle series, the Complete Calendar is masculine and serious, especially in this color, but not ordinary. This is due in part to interesting details, such as the double-bar markings at 12 o’clock and the case with coin-edge grooves on the back.
The important thing is that the sport is well decorated-as perfect as possible to go with the big brand-it even has some inward angles on the packaging (even if they are not very obviously tilted).
Intimate details
Both the front and back show that the design of this watch is thoughtful and meticulous. For example, the gray dial is three-tone: the middle part is light gray and fine grain, while the minute track is dark gray, and finally the concentric brushed date ring.
At the same time, the calendar plate and date hands are dark gray, allowing them to blend harmoniously into the dial.
The movement is equally outstanding in terms of structure and decoration.
The fine processing on the dial side is particularly eye-catching. The tops of the steel springs and levers are all vertically textured, with thin polished bevels on the edges. Both the sun and moon wheels have black polished caps.
The basic movement is calibration. Calibre 2460 is the top automatic movement provided by Vacheron Constantin and is only used in its high-end automatic watches.
