The watch is huge at 46mm in diameter, so he was actually looking for a strap that would enhance the overall size of the watch on the wrist and preserve and accentuate this limited edition Chimera’s bronze chronograph . What better way to enhance the impact of this watch, create a bund padding, and add to its overall design aesthetic, craft this strap from our vegetable tanned leather and give it a special handcrafted Antique Mahogany. In addition to that, fill in the lugs and fill in the top with antique bronze finished rivets to complete the design. The strap itself is cut to an overall width of 26mm and then grooved within the 20mm lugs, which adds to the enormous appeal of the display. Hand-stitched saddles from our Butterscotch Waxed Irish Linen tie the entire design together for a better fit in Kristian is Irish. Overall, I think the design and execution of this custom strap project was a home run!

The new U-BOAT Chimera 46 Skeleton watch is limited production and is already ideal in my mind. It comes with a black stainless steel case measuring 46mm, with double sapphire crystals and side windows, it looks like the perfect gift.
The bezel and case back of this timepiece are beautifully locked together, ensuring water resistance to 100 meters. If you think the oversized crown looks bulky, it seems to be in keeping with the current retro trend.
The innovative engraved pusher is designed to pop the inner crown out of its recessed position, making it extremely easy to adjust the date and time. The movement is powered by the Swiss automatic U-BOAT calibre U-77, skeletonized Top Soignè, which is as impressive as the watch’s unique look.
Modified and personalised to the U-BOAT specification, the Chimera 46 now shows black screws and a personalised sterling silver oscillating weight with three bridges and 3 blued screws. A handcrafted and hand-finished black leather strap with a black clasp adds to the overall appeal of this watch.
This is a U-Boat that caught our attention at past Baselworld. They call it the Chimera 48 Carbonio GMT (ref 7177). This is an automatic chronograph powered by the ETA 7754 movement, which is the GMT version of the 7750. The movement is equipped with a custom rotor made of 925 silver, which they spin to give a detro look.
The case is made of forged carbon, and each piece forms a unique swirl pattern. 48mm is the diameter, but not including the massive titanium canteen crown. A bigger crown doesn’t always mean deeper water resistance, as this piece is only rated for 50m water resistance.
