Bell & Ross BR-03 Green Radar Ceramic

Introducing the Bell & Ross BR-03 Green Radar Ceramic: Time Indicated by Three French Aircraft

For fifteen years, Bell & Ross has dedicated itself to incorporating the aesthetics of cockpit and control-room displays into its watch dials—with the radar motif standing out as an enduring classic. The new, limited-edition BR-03 Green Radar Ceramic marks the first time this concept has been applied to the 41mm BR-03 case. It swaps the traditional red color scheme for the green hue characteristic of modern air surveillance screens. The radar motif first appeared in 2010 with the 46mm BR-01 Radar, which replaced conventional hands with concentric rotating discs featuring a luminous “beam.” A version with a red-tinted crystal, released in 2011, became one of the brand’s best-selling models. In 2014, a 42mm BR-03 version was introduced, followed in 2021 by the BR-03-92 Red Radar Ceramic, which incorporated a ceramic case and featured two stylized aircraft. While earlier iterations displayed either a radar beam or the outlines of aircraft, this fourth version combines both—allowing the aircraft and their glowing trails to appear simultaneously, just as they would on an actual surveillance monitor.

What should you know about this fake swiss watch?
Three aircraft, each positioned on its own rotating disc, indicate the time: a Falcon business jet for the hours, a Rafale fighter jet for the minutes, and a nEUROn stealth combat drone for the seconds. The Falcon completes a full rotation every 12 hours, the Rafale every 60 minutes, and the nEUROn every 60 seconds. Together, these three aircraft represent three generations of French aviation and showcase the exceptional expertise of Dassault Aviation.

The watch features a multi-layered display. Beneath a green-tinted, anti-reflective sapphire crystal lie fixed green scale markings and target indicators. Further down, three black, green-gradient discs—adorned with aircraft motifs—are accented with deep-green Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The wearer’s gaze moves freely between the two layers of the dial, much like an air traffic controller scanning a radar screen. These discs must be light enough to conserve the power reserve, yet robust enough to prevent friction; Bell & Ross notes that each component is adjusted with micron-level precision. The 41mm case is crafted from micro-blasted black ceramic, measures 10.60mm in thickness, and offers water resistance up to 100 meters. The case back features an engraving of three aircraft.

Movement
The discount replica watch is powered by the BR-CAL.327 automatic mechanical movement, which provides a 54-hour power reserve. It is dedicated solely to the display of hours, minutes, and seconds—a choice that perfectly complements the design philosophy of showcasing the watch’s entire aesthetic directly on the dial.

The timepiece comes with both a black rubber strap and an ultra-durable black synthetic fabric strap, secured by a pin buckle made of black PVD-coated steel. At 41mm in diameter—1mm smaller than the previous 42mm BR-03 Radar—this iteration stands as the most comfortable Radar model to date. The Radar collection has always been celebrated for its striking design, and the addition of green accents brings a unique, distinctive flair. With aircraft and their flight paths converging on a single dial, the Radar series remains one of the boldest offerings from Bell & Ross.
