Omega Introduces New Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer

New colorways.

Omega has expanded the Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer collection with a steel model and a new titanium model. Available in restrained gray or green with gold-plated accents, the new pair combines modern style with traditional Cottier-style world time. copy swiss Watches

While superficially similar to earlier versions of the Aqua Terra Travel Watch, closer inspection reveals significant differences between the new model and its predecessor.

The titanium model comes in gray and black tones, and in addition to the gilded embossed world map, the eye-catching look elevates the world time concept. In contrast, the map pattern feels more integrated into the design of the steel model, allowing the map to recede into the background for a more understated look.

The new model is slightly more expensive than its predecessor, starting at $10,200 for the steel strap and about 10 percent more for the titanium strap. Compared to the competition, the Aqua Terra Worldtimer is one of the few world time watches in this price range – most cost more or less – and its quality certainly justifies its price tag above its counterparts from Frederique Constant or Montblanc.

Eye-catching colors
Omega’s latest Aqua Terra Worldtimers continue the brand’s sporty reinterpretation of the classic complication invented by Louis Cottier. The dial features a topographic map of the Earth as seen from the North Pole, surrounded by a 24-hour ring to indicate the time. Best cheap Watches

The new model is available in two metal cases: steel or titanium. The steel version features a green PVD coated dial with a sunray brushed finish, with a matching green ceramic bezel and Omega’s proprietary yellow gold alloy Moonshine Gold and hour markers. On the periphery of the dial is a city disc with 24 cities plated in gold.

The more premium model has a titanium case and a black and gray matte titanium dial. According to Omega, the dial is produced using “laser ablation,” essentially using a laser to remove material from the surface to create embossed text for the city and engrave numerals on the 24-hour scale. Only the words ‘London’ are printed in red lacquer – to highlight its importance as the location of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The case dimensions of the three watches are the same at 43mm in diameter and 14.1mm in height.

They are powered by cal. 8938, a METAS-certified Master Chronometer-manufactured automatic movement. Equipped with a silicon hairspring and a paramagnetic escapement, it is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 Gauss. high quality cheap watches
