The new Baselworld 2018 dial has roulette on it.
For 2018, Jacob & Co. Astronomia has been supplemented with several new products. One of these is the Astronomia Gambler model, in which a miniature wheel sits beneath the dial’s sapphire dome. The wheel is in green, red and black enamel, complemented by mahogany chips.
This model is made to order. Potential watch owners are invited to choose their lucky number. On the watch, it will be highlighted with a mother-of-pearl inlay.
Above the wheel is the rotating module familiar to fans of the Astronomy series. In the new 2018 version, a modified version of the design is proposed, in which the dial is not located on one of the axes of the module, but in the center. The Triple-Axis Tourbillon is a miniature model of the Earth, presented in the form of a lacquered magnesium sphere, with its fixed companion, Jacobs-cut diamonds, fixed to the axes of the module.
