Richard Mille – RM 65-01 Automatic split-seconds chronograph

After five years of research and development, Richard Mille presents the new RM 65-01 Automatic Split Seconds Chronograph, an automatic split-seconds chronograph, the most complicated timepiece ever produced in the Richard Mille workshop.

To ensure exceptional timekeeping accuracy and stopwatch calculations accurate to 1/10th of a second, this model is powered by a high-frequency balance wheel with variable inertia beating at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour).

The split-seconds function, also known as split-seconds, allows for the calculation of intermediate times, a first for an automatic movement by cheap Richard Mille.

This function operates two overlapping and partly independent hands: the main hand is controlled by a pusher at 2 o’clock, which starts and stops the chronograph hand; the second hand is controlled by a pusher at 10 o’clock, which stops the split-second hand when the chronograph is started to read the intermediate time. By pressing the button again, the split-seconds hand is reconnected to the main chronograph hand. Both hands can be reset by pressing another button located at 4 o’clock.

The dial of the RM 65-01 features a 44.50 x 49.94 x 16.10 mm carbon fiber TPT triple case (bezel, strap and case back), micro-blasted, polished and satin-finished grade 5 titanium crown and chronograph pushers, due to its Use color to enhance legibility.

Yellow represents the time: hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock. Green refers to the date display. Orange identifies the sweeping seconds hand of the chronograph and the 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. The split-second hand is blue. All of these features are matched to the putter. cheap replica watches

The quick-winding pusher is made of red quartz TPT pusher. In fact, red is the color associated with the winding mechanism here.

This patented and practical solution was developed on the basis of automatic winding and winding with a crown. By pressing the button 125 times at 8 o’clock, the barrel is fully wound to guarantee up to 60 hours of autonomous operation (the chronograph does not run).

The function selector, located in the crown, toggles between winding, date adjustment or hand setting each time it is pressed. The selected mode is indicated by a hand at 5 o’clock: W for winding (red), D for date (green), H for hand setting (yellow).

Other details that can be noticed on the dial are the tachymeter scale on the upper flange and the 1/10th of a second scale on the inner scale.

Developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, the integrated Calibre RMAC4 is equipped with the latest-generation split-seconds mechanism developed by engineers at Richard Mille. discount cheap watches

The new 6-column wheel controls the different levers of the split-seconds function, optimizing the operation of the chronograph, virtually eliminating any initial jumping of the chronograph second hand, while reducing energy consumption.

The RM 65-01 uses a newly designed variable geometry to optimise the winding movement of the rotor. This unique Richard Mille design allows the winding of the mainspring to efficiently adapt to the user’s activity level, both in sport and non-sport environments.

By adjusting the 3-position weight, the inertia of the rotor is modified to speed up the winding process with leisurely arm movements, or slow it down during physical activity.

The RM 65-01 Chronograph has undergone a rigorous series of tests to prove its correct function in any situation, from shock and drop simulation to a 10-year accelerated aging phase for all functions, to water resistance testing and resistance to magnetic fields.

The new Richard Mille RM 65-01 Carbon TPT Automatic Split Seconds Chronograph is water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet.
