The skeletonized dial of De Bethune’s iconic timepiece.
DB28 has spring lugs and a large number of mirror polished titanium features, is De Bethune’s most famous watch. From jumping time to meteorite dial, it has iterated dozens of variants. Now, DB28 has a hollow dial that can display the mainspring and gear train of the DB2115V4 movement.
The first watch DB28 Steel Wheels launched by the new owner of De Bethune combines several famous design elements that the brand loves.
De Bethune’s trademark triangular barrel bridge has been carved into a “V” shape, and Côtes De Bethune replica engraved with Geneva stripes. Below this, the two barrels also reopened, revealing the two large springs responsible for the six-day power reserve.
Usually, the hour hand is clear sapphire with a blued steel frame, while the minute hand is spear-shaped blued steel. They point to the spherical titanium hour markers on the blue titanium track, both of which appear repeatedly on De Bethune watches.
The rest of the watch is basically the same as the standard DB28. The clock’s six o’clock position is spherical, just above the moon phase, and the brand’s proprietary titanium balance wheel has a platinum texture. It is in the proper position of the tubular balanced bridge, which has De Bethune’s triple Pare-Chute shock absorbers.
The case is made of titanium, and the size of titanium is 42.6mm. You can choose the length of “floating” lugs.
Hands-on: Rose Gold De Bethune Dream Watch 5
Incredibly expensive items.
De Bethune’s watchmaking brand has given birth to many avant-garde watches, from the collaboration between Urwerk and Only Watch to East Asian style Maestri Art. However, its most outstanding sculpture creation is undoubtedly Dream Watch 5, which is an extraterrestrial shell that can tell time.
The original Dream Watch 5 was originally made of mirror-polished titanium in 2014, but the price is very expensive, and the volume is small, only the proportion of women’s watches. Fortunately, it was later expanded to its current largest size, with a maximum width from crown to tip of less than 60 mm, although it is still as expensive.
Then I repeated Dream replica swiss watches as a few examples, the most incredible of which is Dream Watch 5 with a hot blue meteorite.
Recently, a customized version of Dream Watch 5 in 18k rose gold was delivered last year. Even though the design is exactly the same as the other variants, the rose gold specimen still has a significantly more classical appearance, dating back to science fiction.
Like other watches, the Rose Gold Dream Watch 5 is completely mirror-polished, and the crown is extended on the back of the case, and is made of polished, hot blue titanium and made of the same material. Material, and then covered with 1 carat rubies. The aesthetic principle of DreamWatch 5 is actually very simple: it indicates the hours and minutes on the disc next to the spherical moon phase of the De Bethune trademark, all of which can be seen through the small window at three o’clock.
Inside the movement is DB2144V2, which is a manual winding movement with many innovative features of De Bethune, including silicon and gold balance wheel, silicon escape wheel and triple umbrella shock absorber for balance wheel. Most of it can be seen through the window on the case back, and it shows the balance and the blue balance.
The spherical moon phase is not only an unusual display, but it can also be accurate to a day in 1112 compared to the day in 112.5 years displayed by most moon phases.
Like other versions of Dream Watch 5, this custom creation is very expensive for watches that are relatively simple in terms of mechanics. But it has radical design and gorgeous case, all these elements together constitute a truly unique replica watches swiss.

De Bethune DB28XP series
The delicate De Bethune is now super thin!
De Bethune DB28 is the perfect embodiment of the brand’s watchmaking spirit-space-age design, keen and creative craftsmanship make innovative watchmaking a reality, and at the same time has traditional advanced watchmaking craftsmanship. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of this iconic figure in the independent watchmaking world, De Bethune launched three new timepieces that brought together the essence. Now it’s super thin and it has never looked better! Watch the De Bethune DB28XP series, which includes three very different but usually De Bethune models.
Launched in 2010, the DB28 perfectly embodies the philosophy of De Bethune, especially its unique case with floating lugs (variable geometry to fit the owner’s wrist) and a 12 o’clock crown. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series, De Bethune opened a new chapter with three new interpretations, exploring the same theme: ultra-thin. For Denis Flageollet, the mastermind of De Bethune, ultra-thin “is a self-evident evolution. It has nothing to do with amplification, but the essence of distilling DB28.”
The first version directly references the first and most basic DB28. DB28XP is the absolute futuristic style of ultra-thin watches. This monochrome metal sculpture transforms the material into a fascinating life mechanism. Various shapes and layers reveal the space-age architecture made of titanium. Every metal part, including the iconic triangular motherboard, is finished to reflect light. The guilloche pattern adds depth. The hour markers are polished spheres. Through the opening, the titanium balance with gold inserts can be seen, and it is held under the round, finished bridge.
From a technical point of view, the manual winding movement incorporates a number of innovative technologies of the brand. It is equipped with De Bethune hairspring with flat terminal curve, silicon escape wheel or De Bethune triple Pare-Chute shock absorption system. It runs at a speed of 28,800vph, and its self-adjusting double barrels ensure a 6-day power reserve.
Most importantly, the watch uses a completely redesigned case, which not only retains the “floating ear” comfort, but also adapts to a thinner case (now 7.2 mm, previously 9.3 mm). The bending degree of the strap is more obvious and accord with ergonomics. The screw-in crown at 12 o’clock is inspired by pocket watches. The “bullet” of the lug has been redesigned. Looks good on the wrist, if it feels good.
The second DB28XP is another new result of the repeated De Bethune theme, which is obsessed with reproducing the most beautiful night sky. DB28XP Starry Sky is made of ultra-light mirror-polished titanium metal with a unique visual effect. The surface of the blue titanium dial is engraved with many micro grooves and inlaid with numerous gold needles, which are carefully passed through one by one. This creates a fascinating optical effect that increases with the change in metal reflection.
The dura mater on the dial is not random. Customers can choose the date, hour and location of the sky, and then De Bethune draws the corresponding sky map.
Finally, the DB28XP tourbillon. It’s so beautiful… If you have a chance, I can totally recommend you try it yourself!
Directly inspired by the DB28 Digitale, this watch features an elegant and classic white barley grain guilloché dial, highlighted by a blue polished titanium hour ring. At 6 o’clock, the tourbillon beats with 36,000 vibrations per hour. The light weight cage (0.18gr) rotates every 30 seconds. It contains 63 components-the lightest component weighs less than 0.0001gr.
The fast-rotating tourbillon, the ultra-light cage and the high-frequency balance have the same design goals, which are to maximize the efficiency of the tourbillon and compensate for the interference caused by the movement of the wrist.
The back cover of the watch represents our solar system. The first DB28 watch is a tribute to the head of the Orient, the highest honor of the Geneva International Watch Awards (GPHG). The location of the planet is the night sky position over Geneva when the award is given on November 19, 2011.
