Colnago and Richard Mille have collaborated to launch the RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago watch, a new limited-edition timepiece crafted by Richard Mille and inspired by Colnago’s technology, aesthetics, and sporting language. Limited to 50 pieces worldwide, this watch is the culmination of a collaboration between Richard Mille and the historic Cambiago-based watchmaker in Italy, aiming to integrate the Italian brand’s most recognizable elements into the realm of haute horlogerie.
Paying Homage to the Colnago Bike Design
The RM 64-01 Tourbillon replica watch draws inspiration from the classic architecture of the Colnago bicycle. The skeletonized movement is inspired by the structure of a racing bike frame, with the bridges and components arranged according to a visual logic reminiscent of frame tubing, geometry, and drivetrain. The iconic A-line jewel, Colnago’s classic logo, appears on the crown, becoming one of the most visually striking features of this collaboration. Structurally, the RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago watch features a manual-winding tourbillon movement. The case is crafted from white and sky-blue TPT® quartz, accented with details in 5N red gold. The Grade 5 titanium bridges are finished in white lacquer and hand-painted in blue and gold, echoing the classic design of Colnago bezels. The power reserve is approximately 65 hours.
