When incorporating annual calendar complications into its marine chronographs, Ulysse Nardin’s main goal was to combine elegance with an easy-to-use solution.
The new Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronograph Annual Calendar watch is actually very simple to use.
This annual calendar falls between a perpetual calendar (which requires no adjustment until 2100) and a regular calendar that requires five manual adjustments per year. It recognizes 30-day and 31-day months, excluding February, thus requiring only one manual adjustment per year.
Its streamlined design stems from the UN-153 movement. fake Ulysse Nardin‘s watchmakers have successfully simplified the annual calendar mechanism to only 12 additional components, while traditional annual calendars typically require at least 30. Therefore, the movement requires only three additional gears. This movement allows the time and calendar hands to move in both directions.
This automatic movement, entirely developed and manufactured in-house by Ulysse Nardin, includes a silicon hairspring, operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), and boasts a power reserve of approximately 52 hours.
In addition to the central hands indicating hours, minutes, and seconds, the dial (available in white and blue) features a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and a continuous seconds hand at 9 o’clock. A month display is also located at 9 o’clock, indicated by a red hand for easy reading. Finally, the date is displayed in a circular window at 6 o’clock. replica watches online
