Breitling Endurance Pro review

Just in time for the Australian summer, Breitling cheap has released a new set of watches that are, as they say, “the ultimate athleisure watch”. Part of the brand’s professional collection, the Breitling Endurance Pro is a timepiece not only for athletes, but also for those who love the outdoors and active lifestyles.

The Breitling Endurance Pro is essentially a luxury sports watch. Combining innovative materials with artistic style, the Swiss brand’s latest creations feature high precision, vibrant colour schemes and rugged durability that sports enthusiasts will love.

The Endurance Pro fits perfectly into the world of sports, where Breitling already has a long history. In motorsport, Breitling sponsored Bentley at Le Mans, while also forging a long-term partnership with the car brand. In cycling, Breitling has partnered with cycling legends Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali in major events such as the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France. Breitling has long offered timepieces with sports functions, and the Endurance Pro is the latest to continue this tradition.

Breitling, a brand that was once synonymous with aviation, now stands for the accessibility movement. Sports such as running, cycling and swimming. High-performance activities are not limited to professionals, but everyone can enjoy sports. In fact, there is no better endorsement for the Breitling Endurance Pro than Tadej Pogačar.

A Slovenian cyclist, Tadej Pogačar wore a yellow Breitling Endurance Pro model for the final race of the Tour de France and won the race. From a brand perspective, it showcases Breitling’s long history and heritage in cycling, and how Tadej Pogačar’s podium shows the brand’s return to the top in cycling.

The Breitling Endurance Pro cheap watch is inspired by a vintage Breitling watch; the Breitling Sprint. An iconic timepiece created in the 1970s, the Breitling Sprint uses a pulsimeter while being incredibly lightweight. The integration of a pulsometer was ideal for athletes of the time, as they could monitor their heartbeat while on the go.

The Breitling Sprint is also made of resin for a comfortable fit, which is especially important during high-intensity activities. Sprint models, like the Endurance Pro, are also available in a variety of colors.

This latest sports timepiece is a clear evolution of the Sprint model, modern while sharing many of the same features. The Breitling Endurance Pro is available in five different colors, including navy blue, orange, red, yellow and white. What we have today is the yellow Endurance pro model that Tadej Pogačar wore when he won the Tour de France.

case design
The Breitling Endurance Pro features an ultralight 44mm Breitlight® case. The case and bezel are black with an almost matte look and feel. Breitlight®, Breitling’s signature material, was released in 2016. Breitlight® has some impressive statistics such as being 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than stainless steel. It is also non-magnetic, thermally stable and hypoallergenic. However, it doesn’t stop there. Breitlight® is also highly resistant to scratches, traction and corrosion.

Extreme lightness contributes to the wear resistance of this fake watches for sale. In fact, the rubber strap weighs almost more than the case itself. The only downside to the Endurance Pro case is that it is only water resistant to 100m (10bar). Breitling should have designed it to be at least 200-300m so athletes can wear it while doing water sports knowing it won’t affect the watch.

The bezel features a tachymeter scale integrated with the compass and shows the four cardinal points (N, E, S, W). The Breitling Endurance Pro can be used as a solar compass. For this, your hemisphere will vary. In the northern hemisphere, point the hour hand exactly at the sun. Now on the dial, the point between the current time and 12 o’clock indicates south, and north is the opposite. The southern hemisphere uses the same procedure, but north is indicated first, and south is the direct opposite. Since the Endurance Pro is aimed at being an outdoor watch, the compass is a useful feature that is very useful when hiking in the mountains.

Dial Design:
While the Endurance Pro’s dial does stand out, it’s more on the busy side. The large Arabic hour indices for 3, 6 and 9 have been partially cut out to make room for the sub-counter.

The sub-counters themselves include a 1/10th of a second counter at 2 o’clock, a constant second counter at 6 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 10 o’clock. A date window has also been cleverly added between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions. Breitling has also integrated a pulse meter scale in the inner bezel. The pulsometer scale is used to measure the heartbeat and will definitely come in handy during high-intensity exercise.

While the dial is full of details and functions, what brings it to life is the use of colour and its use on different elements of the dial. Depending on the watch color selected for the Endurance Pro (Navy, Orange, Red, Yellow, and White), the dial will be in the selected color. For our yellow model, the inner ring pulsometer scale is yellow, which definitely makes this piece stand out.

The outer lining of the 3, 6, and 9 hour indices as well as the minute track are also finished in yellow. These yellow features match well with the bezel and starter button of the chronograph, which is also yellow.

Other features of the dial are mostly white (time-markers, hands, brand logo and inscriptions), with red tips for the chronograph seconds and the chronograph hands at 2 and 10 o’clock. All the colors combine nicely, create a contrast and stand out very well against the black background. Even if you don’t like busy watch faces, the choice of colors and what makes the watch face come to life might be enough to change your mind.

Breitling’s SuperQuartz™ movement has been powering every timepiece in the brand’s professional collection, and the Endurance Pro is no exception. To be precise, the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 82 powers the Endurance Pro. Although this is a quartz movement, Breitling’s improvements to its SuperQuartz™ mean this is a highly precise movement.

The brand says the movement has an accuracy of +/- 10 seconds per year, which is much more accurate than the COSC benchmark for quartz watches (+/- 25 seconds per year). Breitling says the battery life of the Calibre 82 SuperQuartz™ is around 3-4 years.

How to wear it:
When you hold the Breitling Endurance Pro for the first time, you will notice almost immediately how light the perfect replica watches is. At around 65 grams, this watch is incredibly light. As we’ve already mentioned, it’s an absolute bonus when it comes to exercising or engaging in physical activity. I wore the Endurance Pro to the practice range and the lightness of the watch made it very comfortable to wear during a tough swing.

At 44mm case size, it can be on the big side, but Breitling couldn’t make the watch smaller without making the dial very cluttered. I don’t like busy dials, and the Breitling Endurance Pro is there, but once you get used to it, legibility will of course become easier. The diver’s professional strap is quite possibly the heaviest part of the watch and is also very comfortable to wear.

Although this is marketed as an outdoor sports watch, I wore it at dinner and went out with friends to assess the reaction and was pleasantly surprised to see how many people liked the watch.

The yellow accents on the dial and case, as well as the yellow diver’s professional rubber strap certainly help with that, and the watch is able to stand out from a distance. If you don’t like the diver’s professional strap, the Outerknown ECONYL® Yarn NATO strap can be purchased separately in a color matching the dial.

If you’re a fitness fanatic or a sports enthusiast, Breitling released the Strava Challenge in conjunction with the Endurance Pro. Strava is the world’s leading app for runners and cyclists. As Breitling puts it, “The Breitling Endurance Pro Strava Challenge is designed to engage and inspire participants from around the world”. The challenge comes with some nice rewards, including a Breitling Colnago C64 bike, a Breitling Endurance Pro watch, and a Breitling jersey kit.

So how does one qualify to win these fantastic prizes? Competitors must complete 500 minutes in an activity of their choice, which can be swimming, running, cycling, hiking or other sports. Participants in the Breitling Endurance Pro Strava Challenge will have approximately two weeks to complete the 500-minute race. The winner will be randomly selected from the entrants who complete the challenge.

The Breitling Endurance Pro watch can be the watch you love at first sight or not. The busy dial certainly deters those who prefer a cleaner, simpler look, but then again, this watch is made for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, so the amount of information on the dial isn’t wasted.

The fact that this is also a quartz watch may be a deterrent to some watch buyers. However, the Endurance Pro is no ordinary quartz, Breitling’s SuperQuartz™ makes it a highly accurate timepiece. The Endurance Pro is also very lightweight and comes in some exciting and vibrant colors, a timepiece from a long-established luxury brand that gives the Breitling Endurance Pro a unique place among sports watches.
